Larry East
Vice Chairman

Larry East is Vice Chairman of The WGI Worldwide Company. A member of our Board of Directors, Mr. East offers strategic guidance and insights to WGI’s Board and Executive Committee. Mr. East also acts as a senior counselor to WGI’s Founder Chance Wilson. He joined WGI in 2015 and was re-elected to the Board of Directors in 2017.

Mr. East is Vice President for Business Transformation at Albemarle Corporation, a publicly traded global chemical company. Mr. East is responsible for integrating business processes and practices across a $10 Billion organization. Prior to this role he was Vice President for Corporate Engineering at Albemarle, responsible for leading the global engineering and project execution team as it delivered projects in markets like Saudi Arabia, South Korea, and Jordan. Prior to Albemarle, he was a General Manager at the former Shaw Group in its engineering office.

Mr. East, a graduate of Mississippi State University, is married with adult children. He serves on the Board of Teach for America South Louisiana and on various advisory boards for his alma mater and at Louisiana State University.
